Charles Fox

Charles Fox is the husband of Rachel Fox (though they could be siblings). They travel together in the BON. Charles makes it to Birchtown but as this entry in the Muster clearly states, he died sometime after the Muster was recorded- 'dead' being written next to his name. His former owner, possibly even his father John Fox is from Gloucester and so is not listed in the tithables for Norfolk. Both he and his wife were indentured or vouched for by the same man, John Anderson. It is worthy of note that he absconded after his wife- Rachel leaving with Lord Dunmore from Norfolk in 1776, Charles sometime after in 1778.
